5 Animals That Prove That Farm Animals Can Be Cute Too

July 26, 2020 By FarmhouseWorld Leave a Comment

The ongoing debate between animal lovers is on which is cuter – kittens or puppies? Even the movie Boss Baby sees only kittens and puppies as the direct threat to the cuteness of babies. But little did we know that some of the best gems in the list of cute animals are not found in our apartments. They are farm animals found in farms.

Here are 5 farm pets that prove that farm animals can be irresistibly charming and adorable – and will surely capture your heart.

Goats

Not only do goats have innocent faces, they are also one of the biggest weirdos out of all the farm animals. They love to climb on top of things. They also like asking for attention by “bleating”, a form of screaming that sounds quite human. Also, goats have unique accents, along with mammals with larger brains like humans, elephants, and dolphins. Yep, goats are quite the talkative bunch.

Cows

Cows really are a source of happiness. Aside from being gentle giants in the farm, they also carry the burden of generating the world’s ice cream supply. They are also quite affectionate. Research shows that if a farmer has a good relationship with his cows – like if he gives them names and shows affection – they will produce more milk.

Pigs

Although they are quite dirty farm animals, pigs are adorable. Not only are they cute, but they are also very smart. Research has shown that pigs have such high cognitive function that they can recognize their names and mother’s voice immediately after birth.

Chickens

Although they are not the cutest at fist glance, chickens can be the dearest when you spend enough time with them. They love to cuddle and sunbathe with their pals. They are also really smart. In fact, chickens are able to distinguish between more than 100 faces of other chickens.

Llamas

Llamas look like stuffed animals walking around the farm. However, these cuties are quite territorial. In fact, farmers use llamas to protect their livestock because they are extremely alert and won’t hesitate to chase an intruder away. A good way to keep a safe farm, indeed.
