Time definitely flies, and it’s amazing to me to realize that we have had our cottage in our possession for more than a decade. Originally, it was built as a place where we would spend our vacations, but it become more of a primary home. This change in purpose meant that we had to remodel the cabin to suit our new needs better. One of the first thing we worked on was the bathroom. The project had a goal of making it more modern and more spacious.
Key Takeaways:
- When turning our cabin into our home, we needed to remodel the bathroom to go along with that.
- There was a little orange that was too crazy for me but I decided to keep it anyway.
- Less is more and make sure to keep it simple and keep the colors down to neutral.
“However, I surprised my conservative self when I decided to keep them orange. I kind of liked the fun pop of color. When we needed to add extra storage, I decided to complement the shutters and stain the drawer cabinet orange as well.”
